The 22nd Virginia Beach Spring Craft Market features over 250 fine artists and craftspeople from across the nation offering fine arts, handcrafted jewelry, wood, glass, photography, candles, woven baskets, clothing, toys, folk art and specialty foods. Customers come to see exhibitors' new lines and special accessories for the home and garden including wrought iron, welcome wreaths, garden statuary, birdhouses, outdoor furniture, pottery and wind chimes.

In addition, Heritage Celebration!, an area of educational demonstrations by local craft designers and guilds, has been a huge success since its premier presentation in 1997. An expansion of this program is planned for the 2008 event offering more exhibits to broaden awareness and appreciation of American craft production and preservation.

Events Management Group, Inc. works with the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia helping needy families by collecting donations of canned goods for 50 cents off admission.

"We collected 4,500 pounds of food, bringing our 7 year food total to 47,433 pounds! The craft show/sale drew shoppers from the mid-atlantic region and vendors from across the United States. Our hosts, the very friendly people of Events Management Group, made us feel right at home."

"Support American Craftspeople"

The craft show industry and America's artisans are feeling the effects of cheap, imported knock offs now being sold in every mega-retail store and catalog throughout the U.S.

With this major issue at hand, we, as promoters, will continue our efforts in creating awareness and appreciation for all American artists and craftspeople.

Please join us at the next show where you will find some of the most creative and exciting handcrafts and fine art exhibited anywhere in Virginia this season.
